The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team held off Clermont Northeastern 32-28 Tuesday.

Dameon Williams and Nainoa Tangonan led Blanchester by scoring 11 points each. Tangonan was six for eight at the free throw line in the fourth quarter to help seal the win.

Kaden Cromer had eight points and Cole Mueller finished with two. Coach Mike Malott said Bryce Burress, Isaiah Snader and Evan Malott played well on the defensive end.
