MT. ORAB — The Blanchester Junior High School girls track and field team finished third Wednesday at a five-school meet at Western Brown High School.
Ally Davis had the lone first-place finish for Blanchester, taking top honors in the discus. She was second in the 400-meter dash. Jade West was fourth in the discus and runnerup in the shot put.
Davis ran with Jenna Monhollen, Caili Bauman and Becca Kratzer in the 4×400-meter relay. They finished third.
Savanna Schutte was second in the 200-meter dash and Chloe Koeppe was second in the 100-meter dash. Koeppe and Schutte teamed with Monhollen and Alex Buerkle to finish second in the 4×100-meter relay.
Buerkle, Sarah Casteel, Caroline Rhude and Kratzer were second in the 4×200-meter relay. Rhude was seventh in the long jump. Izzy Harris was fifth in the 200-meter dash.
Bauman was third in the 1,600-meter run and third in the 800-meter run. Holly Scott was fifth in the 400-meter dash and fourth in the long jump.
