EBER — Clinton-Massie’s girls track and field team had no trouble in its season opener Tuesday, defeating Wilmington and Miami Trace in a meet at the Panther Field track.
“I thought the girls competed very well,” first year varsity coach Dean Richardson said. “This was a nice opening meet for our season. I saw a lot of good performances from the girls.”
Mallory Homan took part in four first-place events — the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, the 4×200-meter relay and the 4×100-meter relay.
In all, the Lady Falcons won 10 events.
