An informational meeting for the upcoming Clinton County Barracudas swim team will be held 7 p.m. April 28 in the Wilmington High School auditeria.
The Barracudas conduct practices and hold home meets at the Clinton Swim and Tennis Club on Nelson Avenue.
The Barracudas provide Clinton County area youth ages 4-18 an opportunity to learn sportsmanship, team camaraderie and competitive swimming. According to the press release from the organization, they accept all skill levels as well as members and non-members of the Clinton Swim and Tennis Club.
The swim team season runs from early June through the end of July with meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Cost of the program is $80 for members of the club and $135 for non-members.
The Barracudas compete against other swim club teams including Oakwood, Forest Ridge, Greene Valley, Yellow Springs, Champaign and Wayne.
