Greathouse pitches, hits Falcons to 7-1 win

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — Noah Greathouse struck out 10 Chillicothe batters and had three hits of his own as Clinton-Massie remained unbeaten with a 7-1 win over the Cavaliers Thursday at Paul Schwamberger Field.

The South Central Ohio League victory gives the Falcons a 9-0 overall record and a 6-0 mark in the league.

Greathouse notched his second win of the year, allow just two hits. The lone run came in the seventh and was unearned.

Max Murray had a big two-run double in a five-run Clinton-Massie fifth inning that broke open a close game. Greathouse, David Poynter and Wyatt Jefferson knocked in runs for the Falcons in the fifth.

Murray finished with three RBI. Dustin Eichenhorst had two hits and scored twice. Luke Richardson also had two hits.
