WILLIAMSBURG — Undefeated Williamsburg topped Blanchester 16-1 in five innings Monday in Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference softball action.

WHS improves to 21-0 overall and 10-0 in the National Division.

Blanchester is 9-1 overall and 6-4 in league play.

“This is one of those games where you just give credit to the other team for playing better,” BHS coach Jamey Grogg said. “There is a reason that Williamsburg is undefeated. We had moments where we played well tonight, but not nearly as consistent as we need to be.”

Savana Greene homed for Blanchester’s only run of the game.
