MT. ORAB — The Wilmington High School softball season ended Wednesday with a 9-0 loss to No. 2 seed Western Brown in a Div. II Cincinnati Sectional game at WBHS.
The Lady Hurricane finishes the season at 6-19.
“Tough one,” WHS coach Glen Blessing said. “Had a good, competitive game going for four innings. Then we had a bit of a meltdown in the fifth.”
Blessing said he was “extremely proud” of his squad, especially seniors Brooklyn Keaton, Cherokee McClaskie, Je’Taysia Johns, Kelsi Bair, Lillian Hebb and Macy Fulton who worked hard all season and never gave up.
