Stevens, Barton earn regional honor

Wilmington High School lacrosse players Zane Stevens and Conner Barton were honored by the Ohio Lacrosse Coaches Association. Stevens, a senior attackman, and Barton, a sophomore goalie, were given honorable mention on the Div. II Southwest Region team. Stevens scored 18 goals this season for the Hurricane while Barton made 164 saves while playing every minute in goal for WHS. In the Div. II post-season tournament, Wilmington was defeated by Talawanda 20-9. Stevens had six goals for the Hurricane while Josiah Keiter scored three times.
