An Ohio High School Athletic Association licensed volleyball officiating class will begin July 15 at Damon’s restaurant.
Joe Davis, long-time official, will conduct the class. Upon completion individuals will be able to officiate middle school and high school volleyball matches.
Students will be given books necessary to study and learn the rules and pass the online test to become a licensed official. Students will have a minimum of 25 class hours plus scrimmages during the course.
The first class scheduled to be held July 15 at 5 p.m. All remaining dates, times and locations will be decided by the class at the first scheduled meeting.
