GREEN TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie girls golf team defeated Wilmington and East Clinton Thursday in a South Central Ohio League tri-match at a soggy Snow Hill Country Club.

The Lady Falcons posted a team score of 218 while the Lady Hurricane and Lady Astros both scored 270s. Because of a fifth player tiebreaker, Wilmington officially finished second in the match.

Gabby Woods, the CM freshman, was match medalist with a 44.

Angela Miller had 53 for Massie and Kelsey Smith carded a 59. Jez Forand had a 62.

Playing but not scoring for the Lady Falcons, Taylor Kropp had 64 and Emma Filipkowski had 69.

Scores for East Clinton were not available at this time.

Heather Fryman led the Lady Hurricane with a 64. Lindsey Murphy was right behind her with 65.

Brooklyn Taylor posted a 70 and Meredith Robinson had a 71.

Playing but not scoring for WHS, Carrie Robinson shot 74 and Mady Steinmetz had a 77.
