GREEN TOWNSHIP — On a soggy Snow Hill Country Club layout, the Wilmington High School boys golf team defeated Hillsboro by seven strokes Thursday afternoon in a South Central Ohio League match.

Led by Hunter DeWeese, the Hurricane shot a 170 while the Indians came in with a 177.

Wilmington is now 4-3 overall and 4-1 against SCOL teams.

DeWeese had a 5-over 40 while teammate Jack Murphy shot a 41.

Zack Zeckser had a 44. Drew Carey and Cameron Smart both shot 45s. Zach Wyrick had a 47.
