CENTERVILLE — Simon Heys finished fourth Saturday in the boys 5k B race at the Centerville Saturday Night Lights cross country invitational.
WHS coach Eileen Grosse said several Hurricane runners posted near or new personal best marks at the meet.
Heys was fourth in 17:18.7, his second best time of the year, Grosse said.
Sarah Wright was the first member of the Lady Hurricane team to cross the finish line, clocking a season best 23:21.2.
Wilmington will run its high school and middle school teams at the Blanchester Invitational Wednesday afternoon.
