GREENFIELD — The East Clinton volleyball team was defeated by McClain 8-25, 20-25, 25-22, 18-25 Wednesday in a South Central Ohio League match at the McClain gym.

The Lady Astros were led by Kenzie Campbell who had three aces, five kills, an assist, seven blocks and nine digs. Lacey Peterman had two aces, three kills, 15 assists, a block and three digs. Kaitlin Durbin had eight kills, a block and four digs.

“Lacey had a great game setting and Kenzie and Kait did well in the middle,” EC coach Sarah Sodini said.

Logan Peterman had eight assists and nine digs. Mindy Bean chipped in with two aces, seven kills and five digs. Paige Lilly had an ace, nine kills and 12 digs. Kaitlyn Talbott had a kill and Carrie Pickering had a dig.
