Wildcats, Lions play to 3-3 tie at BHS

BLANCHESTER — For the second straight match, the Blanchester boys soccer team battled to a tie.

On Tuesday at Barbour Memorial Field, the Wildcats and Fairfield Lions played to a 3-3 in a non-league match.

Blanchester is 6-6-3 on the year.

The Wildcats had a 3-0 lead, thanks to goals by Topher Farrow (header), Nevan Coyle (off free kick) and Eli McEntire (header). For McEntire it was his first career goal, coach Troy Ballinger said.

Brant Bandow assisted with a throw-in on the goals by Farrow and McEntire.

In goal, Dakota Penquite had seven saves for BHS.
