Blanchester MS football closes with several wins

The Blanchester Middle School football team defeated Bethel 42-0 in the season finale.

Brayden Sipple had four touchdown passes, three to Brody Rice and one to Trenton Czaika in the win. Blake Richard added a rushing touchdown.

The Blanchester defense had five interceptions, including an interception return for a touchdown by Richard. Other interceptions were by Kyle Hopkins, Tre Mowry, Czaika and Blake Coffman.

On Monday, the young Wildcats defeated Fayetteville 20-16.

Adam Frump had two passing touchdowns, one each to Coffman and Jacob Hamm. Richard had a rushing touchdown.

Levi St. John, Jackson Bray and Zane Panetta led the Blanchester defense.

On Oct. 5, Blanchester won two games from Batavia.

The eighth grade posted a 50-6 win.

Sipple had two passing (both to Rice) and one rushing touchdown in the victory. Gabe Peters rushed for a pair of scores and Richard had one rushing TD. Colt Conover also rushed for a touchdown.

On defense, Richard, Brady Phillips, Conover, Gage Huston and Hopkins played well.

The seventh grade ’Cats were 12-6 winners, that included a Blanchester goal line defensive stand as time expired to secure the victory.

Frump had one passing and one rushing touchdown. Coffman caught the TD pass.

On defense, St. John, Coffman, Gabe McVey and Panetta were the stalwarts for the young Wildcats.
