Falcons win battle of SCOL unbeatens

Drew Kienle led Clinton-Massie to a win over three unbeaten SCOL boys golf teams Monday at the Hillsboro Elks Golf Course.


HILLSBORO — Clinton-Massie gained the upper hand in the South Central Ohio League boys golf standings Monday by topping a field of unbeaten teams at the Hillsboro Elks Golf Course.

The Falcons had a 175 while runnerup East Clinton shot 181. Both Hillsboro and Washington Senior came in with 184. All four teams were unbeaten in league play.

Clinton-Massie is now 9-0 overall and 7-0 against SCOL rivals.

Drew Kienle led the way for Brian Mudd’s Falcons with a 5-over par 41. Par is 36 on the 9-hole layout.
