CM volleyball searching for 1st win

WAYNESVILLE — Still searching for that first win, the Clinton-Massie volleyball team was defeated by Waynesville Monday 16-25, 12-25, 23-25 in a non-league match at WHS.

“Just can not get over that hump and find the groove and hold on to the momentum when we get it,” said CM coach Stephanie Reveal.

Clinton-Massie, 0-5 on the year, was led by Taylor Florea who had 13 points, seven kills, a dig and an ace.

Paige Burton had four kills and a dig. Haley Conley had eight points, five assists, an ace and eight digs. Faith Cottrell had three points and a dig. Emilie Fisher had 12 digs and two aces.

Tyler Greathouse had four points, four kills and six digs. Brooke Rose had a dig. Julie Sowers had four points, 10 assists and five digs. Josie Wolfe had four digs on the night.
