Lady Falcons secure first VB victory

HILLSBORO — It wasn’t easy, but it was a win, the first of the year for the Clinton-Massie volleyball team.

The Lady Falcons held off Hillsboro 25-22, 25-20, 25-22 Tuesday in South Central Ohio League action at HHS.

“The girls played great all the way around,” said CM coach Stephanie Reveal.

Haley Conley had 13 points, nine assists, three digs and an ace. Taylor Florea had eight points, a block, three digs and two aces. Brooke Rose had seven points, four kills, seven digs and three aces.

Tyler Greathouse had seven points, a block, five kills, 15 digs and three aces. Julia Sowers had six points, 10 assists, eight digs and an ace. Paige Burton had eight kills to lead the way at the net. She also had three digs.

Faith Cottrell had two kills, two blocks and a dig. Emilie Fisher had five digs. Nikki Settlemyre had a kill and two digs. Josie Wolfe had seven digs for CMHS.
