FAIRFIELD — Wilmington’s Ryan Hottinger posted the top individual two-game score Sunday at the Back To School Bash high school boys bowling tournament at the Game of Fairfield bowling center.

According to WHS coach Josh Fisher, Hottinger had games of 289 and 224 for a 513 two-games series, earning him the top spot on the all-tournament team.

Fisher said Hottinger filled the first 10 frames with strikes in the 289 game.

The Hurricane finished with team games of 890 and 814 and baker games of 201 and 178.

That put WHS in the baker game bracket portion of the tournament against Cincinnati Elder. In the best-of-3 format, WHS had baker games of 159 and 151 and lost to Elder who had games of 225 and 173, Fisher said.
