Massie boys rip Reading at Crossgate Lanes

BLUE ASH — The Clinton-Massie boys bowling team had no trouble with Reading Monday at Crossgate Lanes, 2,453 to 2,153.

On the girls side, the Lady Falcons were defeated 1,277 to 1,569.

Brittany Fry had 299 (163 and 136) while Emily Rager finished with a 262 series (122 and 140). Kylie Harvey had a 219 (113 and 106).

“All three girls bowled well,” CM coach Shonda Marburger said. “Emily and Kylie both bowled above their average in both games. I saw great improvement with the girls.”

Baker games for Massie were 131, 95, 140 and 131.

For the boys, Chandler Morsch led the way with a 436 series (213 and 223). Joey Marburger had a 409 series which included a high game of 235.

Adin Lamb bowled his first varsity match of the season and “once the nerves got out of the way, he really pulled through,” Marburger said. Lamb finished with a 253 series.

Jacob Wellman had a 184 game, Kenton McInerney had a 179 game, Aric France 148 and Corey Potts 139.

Baker games for Massie’s boys were 151, 181, 183 and 186.
