Fast start lifts Hurricane to 42-25 win over Blue Lion JV

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — A strong first half was good enough Friday night for the Wilmington High School reserve boys basketball game 42-25 at Washington Senior High School.

Wilmington led 14-5 after one and 26-11 at halftime.

Cameron Coomer led Wilmington with 10 points. He was 4 for 6 at the free throw line.

Colt Smith had seven points and Willie Morris made 4 of 5 at the line and finished with six points. Nathan Barker and John Stewart had five points each. Jack Murphy finished with four points. Steve Sweeney and Blake Rhodehamel had two points each. Chris Custis rounded out the scoring with a free throw.
