BLANCHESTER — Blanchester’s freshmen boys basketball team used two stellar defensive quarters to defeat East Clinton Tuesday night, 37-18.

Blanchester held East Clinton scoreless in the second quarter and allowed just two points in the fourth.

Tanner Creager led Blanchester with 24 points. Hunter Bare added six points. Kaleb Goodin scored four points. Jay Ashcraft had two points while Chantz Dalton scored one point.

Colton Vadnais led EC with nine points. Tristian Burkitt added three points. Aidan Henson, Matt Hall and Patrick Dotson each had two points.
