WHS boys, girls 13th at Miamisburg

MIAMISBURG — Both Wilmington High School varsity cross country teams finished 13th Saturday at the Miamisburg Invitational.

“it was a good day for us,” said WHS coach Eileen Grosse. “Almost all of our athletes ran better times compared to last week. We have a few kids out with illness.”

Allister Brausch was the top WHS boys runner, placing 40th in 17:41. Simon Heys in his first race was 42nd.

Tristan Vail led the WHS girls by finishing in 22:53.
