WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — Sam Spirk had four goals and two assists Tuesday as Wilmington blitzed Washington 6-2 in South Central Ohio League soccer action.

Avery Greenlees scored two goals for the Hurricane, both assisted by Spirk.

“Our offense is clicking well,” said Imad El-Macharrafie, the WHS coach. “We’re happy with the direction this team is headed but there is still a lot of work to do.”

Also recording two assists was Wyatt Kessler. Adao Russo and Hayden Straley had one assist each for Wilmington.

“Each game we’re getting a little better controlling airballs and forcing the game on the ground,” said El-Macharrafie. “Court House was another test for us in that regard.”

The Hurricane is 4-0-1 on the year.
