The Clinton-Massie Club Lacrosse team was awarded new equipment through the First Stick Program.

The First Stick Program is offered through USLacrosse. The winners of the grant receive 20 new helmets, 20 new chest protectors, 20 new sets of gloves, 20 new sticks, and 20 new arm pads.

In the first five years, the First Stick Program has equipped nearly 16,000 youth and high school lacrosse players who otherwise could not afford to participate in the sport. To apply for the First Stick Program go to uslacrosse.org.

Clinton-Massie Club Lacrosse has worked hard to bring a new, exciting sport to the district and hopes to watch the program grow over the next several years, according to a press release from the program.
