Beavercreek sweeps two from WHS JV softball

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School junior varsity softball team was defeated in a pair of games Saturday at home with Beavercreek.

Wilmington lost the first game 14-5 and the second game 23-11.

In the first game, Jasmine Collins had two hits with a walk and a run batted in. Bella Gammell had two hits and drove in run. Nicole Gallion also had two hits. Logan Osborne pitched the complete game, coach Pete Brown said.

In the second game, Wilmington led through four innings. Alix South pitched the entire game.

Jennae Valentine had two hits with a walk. Gammell had two hits and drove in a run. Gallion had two hits and drove in two runs.
