WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — A walk-free, error-free effort paved the way for Clinton-Massie’s 8-0 win over Washington Wednesday in South Central Ohio League baseball action.

“We had one hit batter but those guys gave up no walks. That was huge,” CM coach Brian Camp said.

Noah Greathouse (four innings) and Weston Trampler (three innings) combined for the five-hit performance on the mound. Greathouse picked up the win while Trampler is credited with a save. They totaled nine strikeouts.

At the plate, Trampler had three hits and drove in four runs with a pair of two-out hits.

“We picked up a lot of big two-out hits,” Camp said. “That was encouraging to see. Weston just had a good all-around performance for us.”
