BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester High School tennis team was defeated by Amelia 5-0 Thursday in a non-league match on the BHS courts.
The Wildcats are 4-4 on the year.
The match of the day came at first singles were Blanchester’s Jake Miller lost a hard-fought match 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (5-7), 3-10.
“Once again we played well against a quality opponent,” BHS head coach Scott Shepard said. “We’re getting better every match.”
