FELICITY — Kassidy Abney homered twice and drove in five runs as Blanchester defeated Felicity 11-8 in Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference National Division softball action at FHS.

Blanchester is 8-6 overall and 5-1 in the National Division. Felicity is 1-7, 0-5.

“We got out to an early lead thanks to the long ball,” BHS coach Jamey Grogg said. “We also bunted well when needed and got some timely hits.”

In addition to Abney, Jay Dalton homered for BHS.

Maddie Curless pitched seven solid innings, striking out seven and giving up just three earned runs.
