ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie tennis team was defeated by Chillicothe in South Central Ohio League action Wednesday 5-0.

The loss puts Massie at 2-6 on the year, with all matches being against SCOL teams.

“The set and match outcome were a foregone conclusion,” CM coach Lynn Deatherage said.

But her Falcons “did manage to pick up some points on three courts. Chillicothe’s experience and training were too much for the rookie squad.”
