LEES CREEK — A four-run fifth inning helped East Clinton defeat McClain 8-3 in South Central Ohio League softball action Wednesday at ECHS.

The win puts the Lady Astros at 8-5 overall and 6-4 in the SCOL.

Tori Bailey, Kayla Hall and MaKayla Smith had big hits in the four-run fifth inning.

Smith and Kaitlin Durbin drove in two runs each. Bailey and Hall had two hits each.

Sierra Christian checked the Lady Tigers on eight hits and struck out six.
