CMMS girls track, field 2nd at Waynesville, 5th at LM

The Clinton-Massie Middle School girls track and field team finished second at the Waynesville Invitational Thursday.

The young Lady Falcons also were fifth at the Little Miami Invitational on Tuesday.

At Waynesville, Kenzie Avery was first in the long jump and second in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Emma Muterspaw was third in the 1,600-meter run, third in the 800-meter run and fifth in the 400-meter run.

Nora Voisey was runnerup in both the high jump and 400-meter dash. Natalie Lay was fourth in the 200. Kenley Robinson was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and Breckin Harner was sixth in the 200-meter hurdles.

The 4×200-meter relay team of Lay, Robinson, Regan Cole and Holly Young finished third. The 4×100-meter relay team of Lay, Harner, Robinson and Cole finished sixth.

At Little Miami, Voisey won the high jump. Avery was second in the 200, third in the 100 and fourth in the long jump. Abby Broglin was fourth in the pole vault while teammate Bella Theetge was fifth. Muterspaw was fourth in the 400 and fifth in the 1,600.

The 4×200 relay team of Lay, Young, Robinson and Cole finished fifth. The 4×100 team of Lay, Broglin, Robinson and Cole placed sixth.
