CEDARVILLE — The Wilmington High School cross country teams competed Saturday in the Friendship Cross Country Invitational at Cedarville University.

The Lady Hurricane were 14th out of 24 schools competing. The WHS boys were 11th out of 24 schools.

Simon Heys led the boys with a 24th place finish in 17:47.

Also for the WHS boys, Allister Brausch was 36th 18:11, Carter Nichols 53rd season-best 18:38, Ricky Dungan 111th personal best 19:28, Ty Snarr 131st 19:49, Drew Spendlove 148th personal best 20:00, Ian Holmes 152nd 20:03, Bayden Stephens 164th 20:14, 214th Nick Hayward 214th 21:10, Tyler Hebb 221st 21:21, Austin Carey 247th season-best 21:48, Jackson Tofte 279th season-best 22:26, Zack Buen0 282nd 22:28, Troy Oates 311th 23:02, Jonathan Fender 315th personal-best 23:11, Bryant Bergefurd 23:32, Andy Bush 328nd season-best 23;35, Garrett Regan 366th personal best 25:14, Nate McCabe 370th 25:25, Ryan Biscoe 374th personal-best 25:38, Jeremy Marsh 379 personal-best 26:36.

On the girls side, Tristin Vail led the way in 22:56. She was 69th overall. Ali Dooley was 96th in 23:27.
