Wilmington High School graduate Alison Dooley and East Clinton graduate Thomas Wright were named the 2017 Wilmington News Journal Clinton County Scholar-Athlete award winners Thursday night during a program at the Expo Center on the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Dooley (left) and Wright (right) both earned a $500 award for being the WNJ Clinton County Scholar-Athletes Year. Each of the nominees in attendance received a medallion.
