The Wilmington College men’s soccer team trained this morning at 8:30. The players were a bit sore from our game last night.

After the training we departed to Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. We toured the complex, including the players locker room and team benches. New sod was recently installed and the “pitch” looked perfect, like a golf putting green.

Following the stadium tour and a meal in the VIP stadium restaurant, the team visited the historic city of Toledo, a former capital of Spain.

Tomorrow the team will visit the world famous Prada Museum in Madrid and then take a high speed train to Barcelona for the last four days of our trip.
