WHS girls tennis opens with 3-2 loss to Strongsville

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School girls tennis team opened the home portion of its season Saturday with a 3-2 loss to Strongsville on the WHS courts.

The Lady Hurricane picked up wins by Brooklyn Nielsen at third singles and by Zane Bekheet and Emma Schroeder at first doubles.

Nielsen was a 6-1, 6-2 winner while Bekheet-Schroeder notched a 6-2, 6-0 win.
