Massie, CNE girls tie in SBAAC match at SHCC

GREEN TOWNSHIP — Clinton-Massie and Clermont Northeastern tied for the top spot Monday in the Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference girls golf divisional at Snow Hill Country Club.

Both the Lady Falcons and Lady Rockets had a 199 team total. In the overall standings after two nine-hole rounds, Massie leads CNE by six strokes.

“If you told me before we teed off that we would shoot 199 there, I would be extremely happy,” said CM coach Tim McGraw.

Gabby Woods was again overall medalist with a 42. Taylor Kropp had a personal best 44 for the Lady Falcons.

Heather Fryman posted the low score for Wilmington with a 50.

Marcy Ellis of East Clinton had a 62.
