ADAMS TOWNSHIP — With a season-best team total, the Clinton-Massie girls golf team improved to 12-2 this season with a 21-stroke victory Wednesday over Waynesville at Majestic Springs Golf Course.

The Lady Falcons had a 191 while the Lady Spartans came in at 212.

“I feel like we can still knock some shots off,” CM coach Tim McGraw said. “We are still taking way too many putts.”

Massie’s Gabby Woods and Waynesville’s Kate Von Handorf shared match medalist honors with 4-over par 39s. Woods had seven pars and two double bogies while Von Handorf had an eagle on the par 4 No. 2 hole, McGraw said.

Taylor Kropp had a 46 for the Lady Falcons while Abby Schneider had a personal best 51 and Pearl Spurlock shot a 55. Mackynzi Vonderhaar had a 62.
