ADAMS TOWNSHIP — Still unbeaten for the young season, the Clinton-Massie tennis team bounced former league rival Miami Trace 5-0 Monday in a non-league match on the CM courts.
The Lady Falcons (5-0) continue to adjust their lineup “between third singles and second doubles to optimize results,” coach Lynn Deatherage said.
Hailey Clayborn and Anne Thompson move to 5-0 on the year with singles wins while Claire Carruthers and Hailey Stinchcomb are 4-0 in doubles play. Nina Lazic won her singles debut in this one while the duo of Megan Wonderly and Raelee Schulz picked up a win in their first match together.
Massie has a big Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic American Division test Tuesday against New Richmond.
