LEES CREEK — The East Clinton volleyball team dropped its season-opening non-league match Monday with Madison-Plains 21-25, 14-25, 25-14, 17-25.

“I made a lot of lineup changes throughout the game,” EC head coach Sarah Sodini said. “We had a couple starters out or playing with injuries. Madison Plains was a good team. They hit and served very well. I have confidence that we will learn from today and bounce back.”

Logan Peterman finished with four kills, nine assists and seven digs. Malone had an ace and five digs.

Kenzie Campbell recorded three aces, three kills and nine digs while Kait Durbin had an ace, six kills, four blocks and seven digs. Myah Jones added eight kills, 10 assists, a block and four digs.

Lacey Peterman had two digs and Kayla Hall had two digs and two kills. Victoria Jamison had two kills and five blocks. Kaitlyn Talbott had a kill and two blocks. Sierra Christian posted five digs and an ace.
