EC runnerup, maintains SBCN boys golf lead

East Clinton maintained its lead in the Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference National Division after the fifth divisional held Monday at Buttermilk Falls Golf Course.

Georgetown shot a 175 to win the divisional while East Clinton had a 177. Blanchester was sixth in the divisional with a 207.

Overall, East Clinton leads the division by 37 strokes.

On Monday, Jacob Olds led East Clinton with a 41. Brian Miller and Ashlin Benne both had 50s for Blanchester.

Lance Sininger of Georgetown had a 1-under par as the day’s medalist.
