LEES CREEK — The East Clinton tennis team was defeated by Clermont Northeastern 3-2 Wednesday night in Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference National Division action on the EC courts.

Haley Harrell and Jaiden Alloy battled at first doubles in the decisive match but came up on the short end of a marathon battle 7-6, 6-7, 4-6.

Bella Walters picked up her first victory in a singles match for EC. Shelby Michael also was victorious at second singles.
