CM girls win non-league match with WHS

The Clinton-Massie High School girls golf team defeated Wilmington 199 to 231 Tuesday in a non-league match at the Wilmington Elks 797 Golf Club.

Gabby Woods had four pars en route to match medalist honors with a 3-over par 38.

Heather Fryman was the top performer for Wilmington with a 48.

Brooklyn Taylor had a 55 for WHS while Carrie Robinson carded a 63 and Meredith Robinson had a 65. Also for the Lady Hurricane, Amanda Milburn shot a 66 and Adrienne Besser came in with a 67.

For Clinton-Massie, Taylor Kropp had a 48, finishing with three straight pars. Abby Schneider had a 51 and Pearl Spurlock shot a 62. Also, MacKynzi Vanderhaar had a 64.
