EC builds on SBAAC National golf lead


WILMINGTON – East Clinton shot a 158 and easily outdistanced the field Thursday in the Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference National Division event at the Elks 797 Golf Course.

The Astros were led by Brendon Walters who had a 2-over 37 and Shane Streber who came in with a 4-over 39.

Lance Sininger of Georgetown continues to be the top individual in the division. He had an even par 35 on Thursday.

East Clinton is the runaway team leader in the National Division with a 47-stroke lead over runnerup Georgetown.

Blanchester’s top individual was Jacob Miller who had a 48.
