EC sweeps Volley For The Cure matches with Blanchester

LEES CREEK – The Blanchester seventh grade volleyball team was defeated by East Clinton Tuesday night in EC’s Volley For the Cure match.

“The Astros did a great job of bringing the two teams and the communities together to raise money and awareness for Ovarian cancer,” Blanchester coach Julie Mulvihill said.

Summer Schutte had five points and three aces for the young Ladycats.

Hailey Mulvihill, Ainsley Whitaker, Bekah Davenport and Makayla Lanham had two points each. Lanham also had a kill at the net.
