MORROW – The Wilmington High School boys golf team defeated Little Miami by 17 strokes Monday at Bel-Wood Country Club.
Led by Jack Murphy’s 37, the Hurricane had a 162 team total while the Panthers shot 179. Wilmington is now 3-1 in non-league dual matches this season, coach Phil Gilmore said.
Cam Smart was next in line for WHS with a 38.
“Cam has continued to play beautifully with confidence,” said Gilmore. “Jack continues to play great golf.”
Hunter DeWeese had a 39 and Zack Zeckser rounded out the scoring with a 48. Dylan Combs and Zack Delaney played but did not score for WHS.
