American leader drops Clinton-Massie in 4

ADAMS TOWNSHIP – Playing their fourth match in four days, the Clinton-Massie volleyball team was defeated by SBAAC American Division front-runner Western Brown Thursday night 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-13.

The loss puts the Lady Falcons at 5-6 overall and 2-3 in the division. The Lady Broncos are 9-7 overall and 5-0 in the league.

“It’s been a long tiring week.,” CM coach Stephanie Reveal said. “We just ran out of gas tonight. We made a lot of mental mistakes and had 14 missed serves. You just can’t do that and expect to come out on top.”

Taylor Florea had 10 points, three kills, three aces, four digs and two blocks. Taylor Greathouse had six points, 10 kills, an ace, eight digs. Cadin Reveal contributed three points, six kills and five digs. Haley Conley had a point, five kills, 26 assists, 11 digs and a block.

Faith Cottrell finished with two points, a kill, an assist and five digs. Maddie Enright had three points, an ace and seven digs. Delaney Miller had two kills. Ashlie Miller chipped in with 18 digs and Kristen Hillman had 10 digs.
