WILMINGTON – Goshen remained unbeaten in league play Tuesday with a 4-1 win over Wilmington in a SBAAC American Division match on the WHS courts.

Wilmington is 9-10 overall and 6-4 in the American Division. Goshen has just one loss on the year, an out-of-conference match, according to the SBAAC website.

“Hats off to Goshen for being undefeated in the American Division,” WHS head coach Doug Cooper said.

Goshen will go into the SBAAC American Division tournament as the favorite. The tournament will be held at Wilmington High School beginning at 9 a.m.

The SBAAC National Division tournament also will be held at WHS, beginning 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Allie Kees lost a three-set match at first singles 6-3, 3-6, 3-6.

“Allie actually played an excellent match against a player (Caroline Clifton) no one in the conference can find a way to beat,” Cooper said.
