Blan 7th grade volleyball wins Volley For The Cure match with EC

The Blanchester seventh grade volleyball team defeated East Clinton 26-24, 25-20 Monday in the school’s annual Volley For The Cure match.

Coach Julie Mulvihill said the team came together and “played their best games yet to date.”

Makayla Lanham and Ainsley Whitaker had eight points and two kills each in the victory.

Hailey Mulvihill had six points, two aces and a kill. Sarah Pell finished with five aces and two kills. Bekah Davenport chipped in with three points while Mia Torres had three perfect passes from the back row.
