EC volleyball closes 15-5 season with 4-set win

BETHEL – The East Clinton volleyball team wrapped up its regular season with a 25-11, 22-25, 25-19, 25-11 win over Bethel-Tate in a non-league match at the BTHS gym.

The Lady Astros finish with a 15-5 record.

“A 15-5 finish is awesome,” EC head coach Sarah Sodini said. “Emma Malone and Myah Jones had great games.”

Malone had six aces and 10 digs. Jones had two aces, a kill, nine assists and 15 digs.

Logan Peterman posted four aces, two kills, 16 assists and nine digs. Kenzie Campbell had two aces, 10 kills and 22 digs. Victoria Jamison finished with four kills, eight blocks and a dig for a strong game at the defensive net.

Paige Lilly had an ace, 12 kills and 18 digs to pace the EC offense. Kait Durbin contributed an ace, two kills, two blocks and 22 digs. Lacey Peterman had three kills, three assists and seven digs. Kayla Hall had four kills, an assist and two digs. Sierra Christian had a kill and Kaitlyn Talbott chipped in with an ace.
